Match report GPR Batted first on a slow wicket were it was difficult to score on. Testimony to this was the fact that 9 of our batsman were caught with the other being a run out. All the top 5 batsman got a start but only Matt Tarr and Tom Kershaw went on to make the most of it. Both showed the patience needed to score runs on a slow wicket and Matt scored a fine deserved 51. Tom was unlucky to be run out at the non-danger end for 29.

Parks 168 didn't look a great total as Goresbrook got off to a good start but skipper for the day Andy D'cruz brought himself on to make the break through. First change bowler Danny Coombe also did his job by adding to the initial btreakthrough. Tom Kershaw(3-9) and Travis Hussain(2-15) made light work of the middle order.... Tom Kershaw managing to do this despite being in a state of exhaustion due to all the runs he has been getting over the last three games!!!. Mark D'cruz wrapped up the game by taking two wickets by simply bowling straight at tail enders.

Well done boys... we seem to have got the winning habit lets make sure it lasts to the end of the season.
