Match report Walthamstow batted first and put on 113 for the first wicket before some sharp work by Paul Wndebank and keeper Colin Croft ran out operner Ilias for 66. Veteran Les Collard then took the wicket of the other opener. Colts Kier Smith and Micheal Moonie looked lively at times but got little reward. Andy jenner was his usual economic self but star of the show was Dave Cobil who weighed in with 4 wickets.

GPR's reply started well with Colt Andy D'cruz(Aged 15) and Matt Burch getting the score into the nineties when Burch got a nasty injury sweeping and had to retire on 53. Andy D'cruz followed soon after for 41 and then some healthy swipes by the middle order nearly got GPR over the line. There was some good hitting from K. Wright (17), Les Collard(20), Wicketkeeper/Batsman Colin Croft(15) and Andy Jenner(11.no) and Micheal Moonie who played some lovely shots in 16 no, but it was just not quite enough.
