Match report Park were asked to bat first on an extremely poor wicket and outfield at Coopers School and struggled to 85 all out after 40 overs. Young opener Andy D'cruz(aged 15) concentrated hard and nearly batted through the innings for 31. Bob Coombe fired an excellent 33 but no-one elase scored more than 3 with Park bagging 4 ducks!!!

Upminster must have really fancied their chances of a win and chose to bat in the most atrocious of conditions and nearly lost the game in the end finishing on 84-9. An exciting finish to not a great match. Adam Locke bowled excellently for his 4 wicket haul.

Coopers School are spending a lot of money on a cricket pavillion lets hope they can do something about the wicket. The standard of wicket provided is not of that a club of Upminsters standing should be associated with.
