Match report Park had depleted numbers for this match but ran out comfortable winners against a young Hainault side. Batting first, Park lost Ian Greenwood and Chris Lamb early on to good deliveriesbut a stand of 82 by a patient Salim Patel and attacking new-boy Raja Tariq put the innings on track, Raja scoring 66 (8 fours and 1 six)followed by a useful stand of 36 unbroken by skipper Andy Jenner and colt Arun Kullar. all the Hainault bolwers applied themselves well on a decent pitch, the pick being Kothia with 9 overs 3 for 15. The Hainault reply stalled at once when Tariq removed the opener and thereafter the young home side had difficulty with the spin of Ian Greenwood and Arun Kullar, with some good catches being taken by the fileders when the ball was hit in the air. Ian fisnished with 4 for 29 but Arun took the overall honours with a first 5 wicket haul for the club recording figures of 7 overs 5 for 19, a very good performance. The match was well played and in very good spirit between the teams, and the home tea was excellent(well done the caterers!).
