Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club Saturday 1st XI v South Woodford on Sat 24 May 2003 at 11.30
Match was Abandoned Abandoned as a draw bad light

Match report Having posted a reasonably competitive score of 195 all out with Hussain 53 and Redwood a fine 29 Park stuttered along before finally being bowled out. Some consistant middle order scores and some hefty blows from Montgomery at the death gave Park a total to bowl at.
Having been frustrated for a period of time Park finally got their first wicket of Sayeed brilliantly caught by Singh at slip. Two drop chances were to cost Park valuable time in their efforts to bowl out the opposition,Akram being the main beneficary from some slippery fingers.Akram and Akthtar were the main contributors . Some tight bowling pushed the required rate up and slowly the wickets fell Churchill 3-5 and Clarke 3 -42 made in roads before finally it got too dark with an imminent storm and the umpires after consultation abandoned the game as a draw
