Match report After being put into bat on a damp green wicket, Park batted steadily before the loss of Hyam.With a slow outfield boundaries werent easy to ome by and Churchill and Davis set about building a total.Davis scored 55 before becoming a victim of Sharrif.Hussain and Churchill added 81 for the 3rd wicket and as the outfield and wicket got some sun on it and dried out runs became easier to aquirer.Hussain was finally out for 39.In a quest for quick runs Park lost a steady stream of wickets handing Sharrif 6 wickets in a spell which was never threatening but tidy. Andy Chrchill made a fine 78 before succumbing to Sharrif also.
Park settled for 231 a total which on a slow wicket offering nothing to the bowlers set up the match.
Patey was out in the first over to Dreyer, then Bopara and Patel settled in for a stand of 55.Patel was bowled by Montgomery straight after tea.Needing 170 off 35 overs the game was well set.Mo Ishmail batted well for 41 before being LBW to Collard.Collard had Ahmed LBW for 15.Bopara was finally out for 64.Needing 60 off 10 Ferns looked extremely interested but unfortunately Staffer Sharrif came in at number 7 with the orders not to risk it ! Ferns finishing on 31 not out Sharrif 8 not out and settling for a draw when a victory was more likely for the side batting second than it was for the side bowling second.
