Match report On a weekend whenavailability was very poor, Park had to play an under strength side against a Horchurch team fighting relegation. On awicket that had just been freshened by a recent heavy shower the toss was very important with it going to the visitors who invited Park to bat first. They soon found themselves a wicket down but then a steady stand of 114 by Marc LLoyd (80) and Waleed WAin (46) got them to a score wherby the acceleration was necessary in order to set a challenging total. Hwever, with the introduction of Mason (4-29) all those plans were shot away and the fnal score of 189-8 was never going to be enough.

With the wicket now back to its placid self the Honchurch openers of Bannister (110no) and to a lesser extent Rowe (68no) found little difficulty in coping with the home attack which did what it could to resist the onslaught, although with a couple of half chances missed it could have been a different story than a 10 wicket beating for the home side.
