Match report Park lost the toss and were aksed to bat first on the astro pitch at Old Brentwoods, and made a confident start througth Ian Greenwood and Liam Neal who put on 56 against a young wickford attack. Ian was bowled for 31 and Dave Pasola soon followed, very well held, but Chris Lamb attcked and Liam stroked the ball around. Chris missed a straight one just before increasingly heavy rain drove the players from the field, with Liam 38 not out, for an hour and a half. The conditions were such when the rain stopped that a resumption would have been delayed and the game was abndoned.
