Match report This was amatch played on a good pitch where the game ebbed and flowed throughout its length, Park emerging winners by 33 runs after winning the toss and batting. After the early loss of James Perera, bowled by a good one, Ian Greenwood batted with authority first in company with Dave Pasola (16) and then Graham Poultney.with whom he took the toatl to 93 before surprisingly being caught for an excellent 37. Despite the stady loss of wickets, Graham kept up the run making as Belhus shiftd their attack around and he made an impressive 69 (14 fours) before succumbing LBW. with a few added by the tail the final total was a little below par and meant the gme was open. the Belhus reply was to quickly hit the opening bolwlers and skipper Andy Jenner introduced Ian Greenwood's spin in the 5th over. This slowed things down and he gined his reward to make it 19 for 1, but the 2nd wicket pair addd 60 with no. 3 Baker looking a good player before he tried to hit young spinner out of the attack anhd was well caught at long on by Ben williams. 60 for 2 became 68 for 5 and 80 for 7, as the game swung Park's way but still with plenty of time left. young players Danny Norris nd Jack Plane batted very sensibly to add 28 before Norris nicked one for a good 25, and then Mohammed came in to blitz the bowling adding a quick 26 with Plane. Greenwood bowled the latter with a superb delivery for a well made 21, 134 for 8, had the number 10 LBW two balls later and Mohammed next over hit youngster Harry thompson to cover and it was all over. An enjoyable game and some good cricket, well done both teams!
