Match report Park claimed 2 early wickets with debutant Richie Symmonds and Ejaz Khan claiming a wicket each. Both were unlucky not to claim more wickets as the edge was beat on numerous occasions. Some poor fielding and lack luster commitment in the field allowed Buckhurst Hill to get accumulate runs on a slow wicket. Sammer Zia and Richard Wall both claiming a wicket a piece before Ejaz claimed his second wicket Ian Russell notching up 104 not out and Carlos Remi a classsy 49 assisted by James Swash 37 and a savage attack by Josh Peters 23 from 9 balls saw the home side to 240-5 and offering a very generous declaration.
Park started brightly with a stand of 67, Collard first to go for 27. Chris Collier made 47 before being adjudged caught behind. From then on a tale of complete indiscipline saw Park fall away. Only Moin Mulla made any telling contribution with a fine 46 before he became another victim of the classy left arm spin of Michael Peacock who finished with 5-27 from 17 overs.
A fully deserved victory for the home side who were full of enthusiasm and commitment.A word of thanks for some great hospitality. Well done faultless
