Match report
Park won the toss & D.A. stuck Fives in, Winmill & Windebank opened up. Winmill struggled in his 1st over, but was back into his stride from then on. Windebank struggled to come to terms with the wind. He was re-placed by Baljit Singh after 5 overs.
Paul Winmill took the 1st a good catch by Baljit at mid-wicket. A feature of Park's display was the fine fielding throughout the Fives innings. Good catches were taken by Phil Goldstone & Ian Adams. On the bowling side Phil Goldstone bowled a good spell without getting any reward. D.A. being the pick of the Park Bowling & Alan Croft picking 4 wickets up late on as Fives tried to up the scoring rate.
Park's reply got off a reasonable start before Ian Adams holed out to mid-off. A partnership 106 between James Redwood & Baljit Singh pushed Park speedily towards there target. Redwood finally being out for 60. Greg Churchill looked out of touch & was dropped twice before being dismissed for 0. Baljit & D.A. taking Park on to victory. Baljit completing his forst ton for the club. One which was full of great shoots & full of class.
