Match report Gidea Park batted first on a fine pitch scoring at reasonable rate all the way through.Scott Davis again scoring a fine 71 before being bowled .Winnie Churchill pitched in with 46 and a score of 210 on a slow outfiled was just below par.
Ballard started in flaying mood carving 47 before being well caught by Collard at Gully off Clark.Edwards slow 20 set back Fives but a fine knock from Aussie Kim Beazleigh 49 got them back in the match and needing only 4 an over once out Fitzgerald put the shutters up and locked the padlock and throw away the key having little or no faith in the remaining 5 batsmen and the game turned in to a complete non event leaving 21 other players puzzled at his atitude.Fitzgerald finishing on 25 in an hour and 35 minutes on a run chase
