Match report Gidea Park lost their second league game of the season. After winning the toss Gidea Park decided to bat first. They got off to a good start with Levy and Collier putting on 40 for the first wicket, but a clutch of quick wickets saw them reduced to 94-6. Some rear guard action from the lower order, in particular Khan with 40 not out and Miller 21, saw Park get up to a 200 off their 50 overs. A respectable target, but well below par on a good Gallows wicket.
Despite some early pressure created by a fine spell of bowling from Greenidge, none of the other bowlers could maintain the pressure. Wanstead eased to their target for the loss of 4 wickets with 15 overs to spare.
