Match report This was Park's first appearance of the year in the Jeff Rodrigues Trophy for combined U15/Over 40s and Park took the field with three father/son partnerships. Park started poorly losing 6 wickets for 38 runs with only Opener Andy D'cruz making double figures (11). Exprienced campaigners Paul "Wilko" Wilkinson and Ron Montgomery then put on 79 runs to get Park out of trouble. Wilko playing early on almost exclusively with one-hand was soon hitting runs when he put two hand on ther bat!!!. Ron Montgomery scored a superb 128 before being last man out with the score on 199.

Park now had something to bowl at and although Woodfore Green started well Park kept them under control with Adam Locke being very unluck not to take wickets with some super outswing bowling. Sammons Snr "went for a few" but then took a super catch in the slips off his son's bowling. Another great slip catch by Sammons snr had Green rocking and then the spinners D'cruz Jnr(with the aid of two stumpings from D'cruz snr) took 3 wickets and Coombr Jnr took 2 wickets to take the game away from Green.

Wilko and Ron Montgomery not content with thier batting partnership then bowled in tandem with Wilko picking up two wickets and quite fittingly finishing off proceddings with a quite superb slower ball full toss!! Well done Park and well done Ron
