Match report Terriers match to kick off season with all players getting a chance to participate. GP & R batted first with C.McKie and Michael Pegram getting the team off to a tidy start putting on 20 runs. Adam McKie thrashed the ball around as he usually does, hitting some fine shots, but was bowled once to return with 9. James Pegram top scored with 11 , with useful contributions from Andrew Jones with 8 and Anarag Sharma with 9 at the end. Loughton were left with 97 to chase for victory, but were pegged back with some tidy bowling from Chris McKie, David Brett and Callum Brown at the start. It was kept tight all the way and just as Loughton started to put the foot down, wickets fell to Anarag Sharma and Michael Pegram picking up 5 wickets between them. Coupled with some run outs from the keen GP & R side, a win was the outcome for the home side, Loughton reaching 82 falling some 15 runs short.
