Match report South Woodford went on the attack from ball one against a weakened Park side decimated by unavailability. Having said that the side that took on South Woodford showed fine committment and never once gave up the challenge. Butt and Akram both completed fine half centuries all be it in different styles before Collard removed Akram LBW for exactly 50. Nico was bowled again by Collard for 0 in the same over to leave South Woodford on 109-2. Butt and Brown added another 55 before Andy Churchill had Butt caught behind by Chris Swainland for 77. Richard Brown 71 was finally bowled by Andy Berry after a partnership of 106 with Mo Aktar. Rain bought South Woodfords inninngs to a close with the score on 296-4 from 58 overs.
Rain delayed the start of Parks innings and with only a maximum of 34 overs to be bowled a chase of 296 was never on. Chris Swainland and Russ Collard set about batting in a positive manner but Swainland was caught behind by Butt for 22 off the bowling of Khan. Russ Collard 32 and Andy Churchill 17 were at the crease when bad light bought about the abandonment of this match.
