Match report Park lost to Saffron Walden by 32 runs in a low scoring match.
Having won the toss Park fought hard and were rewarded with a great spell from Waheed Khan. R.Sparrow 32, G. Ecclestone30 and J.Holland 35 were the main contributors to Saffrons score of 160 with Russ Collard collecting 4-26 and Andy Churchill 2-18. Park bowled and fielded very well and with half the job done well felt that they should have been able to press on.
Park lost Russ Collard for 5 and Barry Hyam for 16 but Andy Churchil and Chris Collier steadied the ship with a partnership of 35 but Andy was run out for 37 and Chris Collier fell for 12. Saffron tightened there grip on the game and with the run rate forever increasing wickets fell. Greg Churchill with not out 25 and Phil Goldstone 14 were the only contributors to a tail which fell away.
Park were finally bowled out 32 runs adrift in a very disappointing result after having worked so hard in the first half of the game.
