I would just like to thank the following people for their help on Saturday 29th March

We managed to clear the cricket nets and repaired the sightscreens with new slats. A lot of hard work was put in by the above name members to complete these tasks so thank you very much.

PLEASE WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE this coming weekend - BE INVOLVED on the following weekends

  • 5th April. 
  • 12 & 13th April

 Below I have listed the tasks that still need completing before the season starts:

 Club house and external walls

  • Wash down all external walls to the club house
  • Transfer all kitchen equipment from score box to kitchen and put away.
  • Transfer all balcony equipment from umpire’s room to longroom and check for any repairs.
  • Wish List
    • Paint walls in magnolia
    • Paint wooden beams in brown
    • Paint skirts in black
    • Doors painted

 Changing rooms, hallway and umpires room

  • Clean and clear all rooms of rubbish.
  • Reinstate two number away changing rooms
  • Obtain all keys for lockers
  • Check all security shutters for correct operation.
  • Transfer all white chairs to changing room entrance.
  • Wish lists
    • Sand down and prepare walls in all changing rooms and hallway
    • Paint walls in white or magnolia
    • Paint bench seating black
    • New skirting boards inserted in away team toilet
    • Toilet painted in white or magnolia

 Scoreboard and clocks

  • Clear scoreboard of all rubbish and items
  • Check scoreboard working
  • Ensure all clocks are working and are fit for purpose
  • Wish List
    • Remove rack containing stumps and re position in changing room

 Cricket nets

  • Remove any moss
  • Check nets for holes and repair
  • Paint / mark out lanes

 Container

  • Clear container of any rubbish

     

    Inventory

  • Carry out Full inventory of all cricket items and add or repair if necessary
    • Square covers
    • Check pegs for covers
    • Check boundary markers (Flags)
    • Check 30 yard discs
    • Saw dust
  • Stumps
  • Balls
  • Umpires coats
  • Bails
  • Chairs
  • Ropes
