George Rogers became the first GPR player to score a century this season playing for the U21 Academy team at Hartley Country Club on Sunday against their Academy side. He hit a 2013 season high of 127 not out in a 40 over total of 192 for 3 before rain intervened and caused the game to be abandoned with the home team 48 for 4 in reply. Congratulations to George, it was a fine knock, and let's hope it is the first of many for him personally and for the club this year! Other centurians include Sam Hewitt and Michael Pegram.
