Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club

The weather during last week gave the ground no chance of recovery and all matches were cancelled. We are not alone as all the away games were cancelled as well and the National cup 1st round tie v Brentwood has been moved again this time to Sunday 13th May 1pm at Brentwood. The CCC Cup first round v Ealing away has been deferred to later in the month, date depending on the result in the National game, and the League Cup date v Ilford will be rearrranged as well. This coming Saturday12th we start league matches and have selected five sides. Let's hope the weather relents and there are drying conditions during the week!
