Anil’s funeral will take place at 11:30 on Wednesday 4th January 2011 at Manor Park Crematorium, Sebert Road, London E7 0NP. (Not to be confused with the City of London Crematorium in Wanstead). There is to be a private ceremony for the family before, then the crematorium service is open for all those wishing to pay their respects. the club will be represented to pay our respects and if any member can also attend then it would be good to see you there.

Very sad news that Anil died just before Christmas after battling hard against cancer. All our thoughts are with his family and the club sends its sincere condolences to them all. Anil was a popular character (in the nicest sense!) at the club and played an important part in the development of the club's 5th XI having played regularly in the 3rds and 4ths wih his canny spin bowling and hard hitting batting after he joined us. He will be missed!! RIP.
