Mixed fortunes on the day as we reach the third way through the programme, with two wins, two defeats and a draw. The 1sts lost chasing at a young Buckhurst Hill side. The 2nds won by 5 wickets in the last over against Leigh on Sea (50s for Michael Pegram and Luke Baker). The 3rds lost a high scoring game against Woodford Wells but picked up 11 points along the way. The 4ths won batting first in a low scoring contest at Wickford 3rds. And the 5ths had an exciting scores level draw batting first against Basildon & Pitsea 4ths, with 75 (a debut 50 in adult cricket) for George Rogers.
