Friday September 8th saw the final get-together for all our colts as we celebrated another successful season at Main Road
Whilst trophies may not have been forthcoming, our four main colts teams (under 9/11/13/15) managed to play a combined 70+ matches, surely a record for recent times and we congratulate all managers, coaches and parents for making this possible. It's a fantastic sight to see so many colts train each Friday and to have matches where parents really get involved and with some success at every age group..
The night itself was split with a couple of screen presentations/videos for the younger ages both celebrating the cricketing year and the players themselves as well as our successful Family Festival, before the two older groups took to the hall to review their own seasons.
At the end of each hour, our annual awards were given to players that qualified to each manager's criteria and we celebrate those listed below for excellent and consistent performances. In truth, every player was a winner, all contributing to an excellent 2019 - THE year for the sport.
