We are extremely proud to announce that Gidea Park & Romford CC has been accepted into the
Jack Petchey Award scheme. This is a fantastic scheme open to organisations working with 11-25
year olds in East London and Essex to recognise outstanding young people.
Each year we can recognise three younger members with awards. Winners each receive a grant of
£250 and choose how the money can be spent on a way that will benefit other young people within the club.
We will be looking to make out first award in the next four weeks, so if you know someone aged 11-25
within GPRCC that has shown outstanding sportsmanship, great skills, has overcome a personal
challenge, has a great team player attitude or volunteers to help out please visit the Junior Cricket
