We are sad to report the passing of Mick Wright, a valued friend, patron and long time player with Romford and then the amalgamated Gidea Park & Romford cricket clubs. Mick joined Romford around 1961 and retired as a player with GP&R in 2001. Mick carried on supporting the club as a Vice President and was a regular visitor attending our club lunches and suppers.
For those who knew Mick and wish to attend his funeral, the details are as follows:
12.30.pm, Monday 9th July. Seven Hills Crematoriam, Felixstow Road, Nacton, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP10 0FG (located just off Junction 58 of the A14/A12)
