Match report On a beautiful day at the County Ground Chelmsford, Park won the toss and chose to bowls first. Gordon and Chouhan bowled well up front, with only Gilhooly managing to reach double figures in Colchester's top 6 batsmen. With Chouhan and Filmalter bowling superbly in partnership on a pitch that offered assistance to the seamers, it looked like Colchester would not get to 150, however Bolton (30) and Thomas (31) managed to end the innings on a more respectable 184. Chouhan finishing with excellent figures of 6-54. Park's reply started poorly to say the least, and Colchester would have thought that victory was imminent as Park slumped to 56-5, however firstly Jutla (47) put on 44 for the 6th wicket with Tarr (48), and then 77 with Brant (46 no) to bring Park in sight of the win. The job was finished by Wall with 7 overs to spare.
