Park dominated from the start with great debutant bowling from Jason Toogood with his medium pacers and Andy Churchill with fiery left arm overs. Runs were hard to come by on a slow wicket so Ian Adams turned to the big spin bowlers and Sweeney and Goldstone were soon into th e action.Between them they claimed 4 - 46 from 18 overs to put Fives on the backfoot.Adams then turned to the next spin twins of Batch and Collard adn between them they bowled out 10 men Fives with a spell of 4 - 48 from 13 overs to bowl out Fives for 138 in the 45 over
Park took no time at all claiming victory. Davis 73 and Thomas 40 put on an opening partnership of 114 in the 21 st over. Both fell quickly leaving it to Sweeney and Adams to put on the remaining runs and win by 8 wickets with 19 overs to spare.
Park now head the Reader Sovereign League
