Match report The rain finally ceased and play finally commenced after 3 consecutive washouts!


Park won the toss and elected to bat on a what looked to be a flat wicket. A reshuffle of the order see Collier and Mane open up the Park innings. Collier first to go runout backing up. Francis and Mane continued the good work with Mane eventually falling for a fine 113. 16 year old Hewitt scored his maiden 1st team half century and some lusty strikes from Filmalter enabled Park to declare 4 overs early with 288-5 on the board.


Parks return started strong with Hewitt making the initial breakthrough. Wickets for Fretwell, Francis and Mane soon see Belhus 79-4. Thereafter half centuries from Joyce and Day halted Parks hopes of victory. Belhus finished 203-4. Park taking 9 points and Belhus 6.


While disappointing not to take more wickets Parks ground fielding was sharp throughout. Something we must take forward into remaining games!
