Match report After winning the toss Wansttead were asked to bat on a slow wicket.Ben Montgomery struck early removing Walters caught behind for only 4.Dreyer then struck to remove the flamboyant shot playing of A.D.Akram convincingly cleaned bowled for only 2 to reduce Wanstead to 15 -2. Russ Collard then came on to replace Dreyer and had Chambers caught behind immediately by the ever impressing Hyam. Chambers went for 17.Alex Richards and A.R. Akram then set about rebuilding the innings and slowly accumulated runs.Parks sometimes slack fielding allowing their opponents the opportunity to edge away. Collard then had Akram caught behind off the last ball before lunch leaving the score at 113-4.Immediately after lunch Dreyer removed the impressive Richards caught by Hussain for 65.Collard bowled Hinton the next over to leave Wanstaed stuttering at 119-6. Maddin then was stumped by Hyam off Collard for 2 .The tail wagged abit but Dreyer removed Andrews LBW with a yorker for 8.Collard completed five for when he had Westfield caught again by Hyam for 2 . Fiaz and Palladino added a steady 30 before MOntgomery returned to have Fiaz caught behind for 17.Hyam 4 catches and a stumping.
Hyam and Whatling opened up with the unfortunate Whatling being given out LBW for 8 to a slower A.D. Akram delivery.Hyam and Churchill batted sensibly accumulating a steady partnership which had started to florish when Churchill was clean bowled for 37. Hyam completed his 50 in a 24 run partnership with Hussain before falling to a pull shot off the impressive 14 year old Westfield for 65. Collard joined Hussain to see Park home to a comfortable victory against the league leaders with 5 overs to spare.
