Match report It wasn't so much "Sunday bloody Sunday" as a nightmare on Elmstreet and nothing a storm could to save Park from another defeat.
After a steady start at 57-0 and then from 73-2 Baber Choudhary "40" showing any resolve it took nothing but a few "seconds" and a few overs to reduce Park to 130 all out.
In a performance that looked like a "New Years Day" hangover Park were unable to put up any "red light" to stop the stem of wickets as Alan Ison picked up 2 wickets. Upminster's chorus of appeals were "like a song" as each Park batsman was picked off. Iqbal picking up 4 wickets. Andy Churchill, James Evans Rudi Filmalter and Sean Kingston all for a miserly 42 runs in 19.4 overs. Ollie Peck was in no mood to take any prisoners as Park could find no "refugees" to stay at the crease. All out for 130 in the 54 over and then have to "surrender" 10 overs to their opposition.
Park soon struck Ejaz Khan claiming the first of his 2 wickets removing Rath for 7 but then Squibb and Jenkins put on 43 and lost Squibb at 53.Alan Ison and Jenkins saw Upminster home to a crushing victory.
Park need to up their game and start to put some performances together and play as one.
