Match report Unfortunately we wqere quite heavily defeated in our opening indoor league game against Upminster B. We had a young, inexperienced team and came up against an Upminster side which have been playing in this league for several years and finished 2nd last year. Batting 1st we scraped together 38-6 in 10 overs. Upminster won by 5 wickets in the 6th over. We learnt a few lessons about how to score runs indoors and how to bowl just short of a length as its harder to score boundaries. I feel it will take us a while to get used to the skills required for indoor cricket but in all we enjoyed our 1st game and this is the main reason for playing indoor cricket.
