Harold Wood put Park into bat and Park got off to an excellent start with Openers Matt Tarr and Mark D'cruz batting sensibly while punishing the bad ball. Matt Tarr eventually retire on 53 and Mark D'cruz was caught on 39. All other batsman played short but useful innings, most noteably skipper Jack Kliber wieghing in with a quick and effective 19.

All Parks bowlers bowled economically. Two stood out however. Danny Coombe took 3-15 off his 3 overs and Nickesh Gadhvi took 2-17 off 3 and looks to be a potentially good off-spinner
