Hornchurch batted first and were held up initially by some tidy bowling from Danny Coombe and Mark D'cruz. James Edge guesting due to shortage of GPR numbers looked lively and removed both the openers only after Murray had hit a lively 60 for Hornchurch. Park used 7 bowlers who all did well and the fielders stuck to thier task against a side that were a lot more experienced. Peter Thain went for a few but kept his head up and kept trying and was the bowling star taking 3 wickets.

Parks reply never really got going. Peter Collier did well to bat through for 43no and their was some lively hitting from James Edge and Steve Payne. Park settled for a draw which was a deserved result for thier efforts in the field.
