Park batted well on a dry wicket after a sticky start. Having chose to bat were reduced to 32-4, before Adams and Patient came to gether to add 102 before Adams was out for a fine 77. Collard joined Pateint but Jim was to be caught soon after. Collard and Davis added 71 in the next 10 overs before Davis was out for 31. Collard finished on 78 and the score on 255 from there alloted 45 overs.
New ball pairing of Scott DAVIS and Bruce Ripball ADAMS soon put Park in charge. ADams ripping through the opener bowling hoim first ball. Adams was to claim another victim to the swing well caught by Croft at cover.Davis finished wicketless a spell which should send shivers through the Premier League. Luke Sweney produced a fine spell of leg spin finishing with 2 - 20.AS did Alan Croft bowling well to claim 3-27 from his 9 overs.
Park ran out eventual winners by 45 runs .Brian Kemp made a return to first team cricket after 17 years and whilst finishing on 0 not out he almost claimed a catch to seal the match.
