GP&R narrowly missed out on maximum points on a hot day at Gallows. Losing the toss GP&R were put into bat. Baker (67) and Patel (53) again forming the cornerstone of a competative Park total of 223 for 9, supported by Filmalter (31).

Park bowled well with the new ball without reward on a pitch that got flatter as the game progressed. Once Chouhan made the break through trapping Rowe LBW good pressure from Park saw wicket fall at regular intervals however Park could not inch out the last wicket for victory, despite a fine one handed catch by Montogomery in the last over to claim the ninth wicket. Patel was the pick of the bowlers with a fine 6-45.
