Match report Wanstead were deserved winners in a pretty much one-sided final of the Metropolitan Area final of the Peters Cup.
Park started well keeping Wanstead at bay and Adam loocke picking up a wicket with one that swung in late to the Wanstead left handed opener. However that brought Shanker Gulalan to the wicket who hit a fine 100 including a masive six into the gardens.

170 was a tough ask and Park tried hard but could never get up to the required run-rate. Openers Craig Bray (with 23) and Andy D'cruz(33) put on 53 for the first wicket but the game was more or less lost by then.

Learning Points: Last 10 overs should have gone for it or got out... We had a slim chance which we needed to persue
