Leigh got off to a good strat on an easy paced wicket reaching 100 for 5 and looking ste for a minimum 200 score, but the introduction of Jones and Trowse reigned in the scoring. ALthough wicket less Jones 12 overs changed the innings ang the bowlers at the other end benefited with Trowse producing his best spell this season for the 5th eleven. Ashu and Bhogal closed the innings with Leigh finishing on 159 for 9.

The batting of GPRCC was spectacular while Ashu was in the middle. Ashu and Jutla put on 99 for the first wicket but the innings collapsed at this point from 99 for none to 123 for 6, Ravi Rajani steered the innings to the end but the batsmen nearly blew the opportunity of victory.
