Match report A strong performance against the league leaders. Abid Alaracu got us off to a breezy start, before Fabian and 14 year old Josh Turner took over, seeing us to a challenging total.

South ends reply was stalled by Adam Mckie's 2 wickets in his opening spell. Southend threatened especially whilst big-hitting skipper Kenton was at the crease, but Mueez Quereshi returned and took two in an over to put the brakes on. Rana kept chipping away, but we could not break the 8th wicket partnership.

Overall, a good performance on a hot day, against a strong outfit.
