Match report Colchester won the toss and asked Park to bat first on a wearing wicket.hussain went early and Hyam and Churchill came together to add 20 before Hyam was out LBW for 32. Churchill and Davey added 64 before Davey was unfortunately caught in the deep of a full toss for 34. Churchill was run out for 27 with a direct hit and Collard was caught for 15 sweeping.Andy Clarke 36 and Ben Montgomery 29 both not out added 70 in the final overs to give Park a competitive score of 198.
Flanagan and Ivulich set about their chase adding 88 for the first wicket before Ivulich was bowled by Alan Croft for 44.Hembry and George were then quickly dismissed off the bowling off Collard. George caught brilliantly by Hyam standing up.Useful lower order knocks were to come after Churchill removed the flowing Flanagan for 55 again well caught by Hyam to give Park a great chance of victory.Kennedy , Mcqueen , Dias all scored useful runs and it was left to Austin and Mehan to add the final 18 runs by scampering quick singles and putting the fielders under pressure whilst Davey produced some fantastic efforts at the end but Colchester got there in the final over with 4 balls to spare winning by 3 wickets
