Match report Park won the toss and chose to bat frist in this 40 over contest. Openers Evans (103) and Hiscock (50) put on 135 for the 1st wicket before Hiscock was bowled after just completing his half-century. Evans stuck around for a while longer and completed his maiden century for the club. Goldstone (26) and Redwood (8n.o) ensured Park posted a good total of 217 from their 40 overs.

In reply Dartfordians never really looked likely to challenge Park's total with Ford (1-13) and Goldstone (2-12) the pick of the bowlers. Coombe bowled well, but occasionly lost confidence in his bowling to finish with figures of (2-49). Park's total was indeed enough to ensure that at one stage the bowling attack consisted of Jim Patient's from one end and skipper Webber at the other.
