In this 40 over a side game Park won the toss & asked Old B's to bat first. Michael Moonie bowled a tight 1st spell, while at the other end Andy Jenner was his usual miserly self bowling out his 8 overs straight off. After a good 1st over in which he took a wicket Jon Roberts struggled with his length and after 4 overs was replaced by old man Dave Cobill who bowled well. Nicky Ford also bowled well in his second comeback game for the club and was unlucky not to pick up 3 wickets by for some sloppy glove work from behind the stumps. Dave Osborne also chipped in with a wicket
When Park batted they struggled early on due to some good Old B's bowling, & found themselves 40 for 4 at the half way stage. The men out being Goldstone, Thomas, Evans & Roberts. Andy Jenner & Rob Nicholson started to get park back on track but then Jenner was out caught & Nicholson out LBW 2 overs later. James Patient then let fly, batting down the order due to a finger injury, he was well supported by the lower order. With 8 runs needed off the final over Park got home with 1 ball to spare.
