Match report Park won the toss & batted first Chris Collier & Andrew D'Cruz opened up against an inexperienced Upminster side they put on around 50 for the 1st wicket before D'Cruz was caught at the wicket. James Patient joined Collier at the wicket. Collier continued his good form playing some fine drives on his way to a good 109 not out, while Patient scratched around for his 1st fifty, he went on to score 103 not out eventually finding his touch & becoming more fluent. Skipper Chris Webber declared as soon as Patient reached 3 figures.

When it was Upminster's turn to bat Charl Du Preez & Keir Smith started brightly, Smith took the 1st wicket caught behind by Patient. It then became the Phil Goldstone show as the young left arm spinner took 5-8 split over 2 spells. Alan Weatherill & Danny Coombe chipped in with wickets & James Evans finished things off having Albert Moulder stumped with his occasional leg spin.
