Gidea Park and Romford compiled 194 of their 45 overs with excellent contributions from Ron MONTGOMERY, Chris COLLIER and James EVANS with some stong hitting. Hornchurch looked to be strolling to victory when the openers put on 100 for the first wicket but after a couple of wickets and some good bowling from TOOGOOD, WINDEBANK and GOLDSTONE things were pulled back. Wickets fell regularly inbetween some good striking and when the last over came three runs were still required. It then went to the last ball when 2 runs were got for the hard earned victory.
