Match report Park won the toss and decided to bat first and got off to a good start when Andy D'cruz and Craig Bray put on 71 for the first wicket off 15 overs. There was a bit of faltering by the middle order but Andy and Tom Kershaw put on 50 for the 6th wicket before Andy was out after making his maiden hundred for the club. Andy was run out in the 36th over after hitting 119 including 15 fours and a six. Tom then aided by Adam Locke made sure Park posted a compiietive 214-6.

Opening bowler Adam Locke took the first wicket in the third over due to a blinding catch by Craig Bray in ther gully. This briught Z. Siddque to the wicket who set about the Park attack but got little support from his teammates. Furthing good catches by Adam Locke and Craig Bray disguised a below average display in the field by Park but it was good to have Ryan Sammons back in action who bowled with a bit of his old venom. Tom kershaw continues to improve with his bowling and James Johal found himself on a hatrick but then had to settle for a double wicket maiden in his first over. Gary Coombe continued his fine run of form to take two wickets. Andy D'cruz contniued his fine game by bowling H&C top scorer Siddque who made a fine 73. Peter Collier wrapped things up taking two wickets with his occassional off-spin.

One more matchplay game to go on Monday 28th July so lets see if we can finish off the year with a win against Saffron Walden.
