Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club Saturday 4th XI v Wanstead on Sat 02 Aug 2003 at 1.30pm
Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club Lost 4 wickets

Match report Park were asked to bat first and all the top three batsman got a start. Owen Boothby was caight after a bright and breezy 16. Craig Bray and Andrew D'cruz pushed on but then came umstuck against the slow bowling and this is an area we really must work on with these two players. No other notable contributions except for skipper Les Hall who welcomed a return to form with an undefeated 51. 149 all out was never going to be enough runs.

Keir Smith gave park the start they wanted removing both the Wanstead openers in his first two overs. After this point Park struggled and although John Windebank got 3 for 23 it wasn't going to be enough. Wanstead got home for the loss of six wicccckets with Akbar finishing on 95 not out.

A poor batting performance
