A steady but slow start by young openers Bray and D'cruz gave way to some aggressive middle order batting from Goldstone and Coombe. les hall guided his to to a respectable score with a fine 38no. He was assisted well at the end of the innings by wicketkeeper Croft who blasted 32 quick runs.

GPR were probably 20 odd runs short of what was needed and Brentwood got the runs with 5 overs left but not before John Windebank chpped in with two wickets.
