Match report Having won the toss 'Park elected to field, and a relatively young Shenfield side had no answer to our bowling attack in damp conditions on an unpredictable batting surface. Paul Winmill and Pun Satsangi shared the new ball and conceded 20 runs from the opening 20 overs. Paul can count himself unlucky at not getting amongst the wickets as he must of beaten the bat 2-3 times an over. Punit returned excellent figures of 3-12 from his 1st bowling spell of the season. Change bowlers Les Collard (5-15) and Andy Jenner (2-6) mopped up the rest of the Shenfield innings in just 9.1 overs.

Although we lost a couple of wickets we knocked off the victory target in just 14.2 overs.

Once again a comprehensive victory. It will be interesting to see if many more games were fully completed as a lot of rain fell from 4.30 onwards. Roll on Bleinheim Park next week!!
