South Woodford v Gidea Park & Romford CC Saturday 2nd X1 on Sat 24 May 2003 at 1.30pm
Match was Drawn
South Woodford won the toss and elected to bat on a slow wicket. Gidea Park & Romford bowlers started well and had the opposition 105 for five but then lost controll and discipline to let the opposition get away. The opposition eventually declared with 248 for 8 which included 32 extras which is just too many. BAKER and COLLIER got PARK off to a reasonable start but then Park lost four cheap wickets which realistically brought to an end any chance of winning. However, ADAMS and SATSANGI batted very well to secure the draw and three batting points. ADAMS got to his half century before having to retire hurt.
