A disappointing result but a great game of cricket with Ardleigh Green winning with just 2 balls to spare.

Park batted first and openers Joel (22 not out) and Kiran (17 not out) got the innings off to solid start before both batsmen retired not out. Unfortunately no one was able to score quickly enough to set a tough target and the innings petered out tamely with just 80 on the board after 20 overs.

Ardleigh Green's reply got off to the worst posisble start with Joe bowling the opening bat with the 1st ball of the innings but Green's no. 4 batted very solidly before retiring on 31 to keep their innings ticking over. Not for the first time this season Kudiwa was the pick of the Park bowlers taking 3 for 10 from his 4 overs but in a tense finish Green got home with 2 balls to spare.
