Leigh-on-Sea elected to bat first on a hot day on the coast. Louis Stuckey bowled well, claiming the wickets of LOS' first three batsmen. He should have had two more wickets, but for a couple of drop catches. After Evans caught the Leigh-on-Sea captain off the bowling of Tarr, Park had the opposition under pressure. Roberts again bowled economically and Satsangi took a brace. A score of 146 all out was perhaps a little higher than GP&R should have been chasing, but this produced a better game. Andy Goldsmith top scored with 61 and Punit Satsangi made 40, to guide the side to it's first victory of the season.
